Recharged and Rejuvenated

So this past week hasn't been the greatest for more reasons than one. One of my best friends is really struggling right now, the battle to keep my grades up is tough, and I am second guessing what I think the Lord wants me to do with my life. I have to admit, I haven't felt my greatest lately! THANKFULLY, this weekend came like a breath of fresh air to my beaten down body.

My wonderful cousin Kristen (I've called her KK since I could talk) had her baby shower at my house this weekend. I got the opportunity to hang out with some of my family that I haven't seen since Christmas! I knew that coming home this weekend was going to be incredible, because every time my family gets together (or even just the women in this case) it is a beautiful collision of laughter accompanied with a dash of weirdness. And I love EVERY minute of it.

This little boy doesn't know what family he is about to be born into ;)

After the baby shower was over, we got to take these precious little girls to the park! The park we went to was my elementary school park. It brought back so many memories, and made me feel SO old! How can I be old enough to be too tall for the monkey bars? haha

God is so good, and He picked me up right when I needed it the most! I'm so ready to take on these last three weeks of freshman year like a champ.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow,

LAS
